December 2007 MBA Awarded American Express personalised stationery contract
MBA have been awarded a contract for the supply of personalised stationery to American Express. To facilitate this project MBA will be utilising its online ordering portal to allow American Express stationery users the ability to typeset, proof and order personalised stationery via the web.

This will show a significant cost saving to AMEX as well as streamline the ordering process.

November 2007 MBA Gains FSC Certification
MBA are proud to announce that, in addition to our ISO 14001 Environmental accreditation, we have now been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
FSC Certification assures the credibility of claims on products. It enables the tracking of materials as they leave the forest and become products downstream. The chain of custody certification process, like any inventory control system, allows products to be segregated and identified as having come from a particular source, an FSC certified forest.

September 2007 MBA Achieve ISO27001
In line with our philosophy to exceed standards in our industry, MBA have been building towards accreditation for ISO 27001, the worldwide information security standard. There are currently approx. 3,000 companies worldwide who hold such an accreditation and only 87 companies in all markets within the UK – including financial organisations.

Accreditation to the ISO standard will provide clients with assurance of MBA's capabilities and processes in a vitally key area. It will give confidence that our operation is able to ensure compliance with the most stringent information security requirements.

September 2007 MBA Group win £1m + contract with Inside Track
MBA have recently been awarded a print, direct mail and postal contract with Inside Track, the UK's largest property investment group.

MBA are now solely responsible for the production, data processing, fulfillment and postage for all Inside Tracks’ weekly campaigns. (400 -700,000 items per week)

Having previously tendered and been short listed for this business 18 months ago, MBA have constantly remained in dialogue with Inside Track, sharing our own ideas for pack formats and investigating the possibilities of cost savings. MBA are soon to start testing new fully integrated and highly targeted marketing campaigns utilising the latest digital technology.

July 2007 MBA Signs 3 year contract with Hestia
Hestia Managed Services are expert providers of sustainable energy related products and services. Hestia has provided scanning and fulfillment services to the Energy Saving Trust for the past 6 years.

The contract is for the production of the Energy Savings Trust DIY home energy check reports and similar customer data publications. These are multiple page reports printed in full colour that we will be producing on our Igen digital presses. Files are transmitted from Hestia on a daily basis, the reports are collated with various regional inserts, enclosed and mailed on the same day.

30th January 2007 MBA gains supplier status for Lloyds/TSB...
MBA have been approved by Xerox Global Services as a Tier one supplier of direct mail. XGS are contracted to purchase all of the marketing material for Lloyds/TSB. The two year contract will commence March 1st 2007 and follows a 6 month supplier review process from which we are delighted to have been selected.

MBA wins ‘Best-of-the-Best’ International Print Awards


MBA Group has won a ‘Best-of-the-Best’ International Print Award. The award is for producing a fully digital publication using their Xerox 980 colour continuous laser press.

Graham Smith, Marketing Manager at MBA, is delighted with the award. "We wanted to use a vehicle that would demonstrate the benefits of variable content on large print runs, which is where our data team and the 980 really score".

MBA fought off stiff competition with an incredible number of entries from over 19 different countries. The award was presented in front of an international audience at the Premier Partnership Congress held in Manchester on 17 May 2010.
